6 Days – A trip to Kidepo Valley NP
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport & Transfer to Your Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist with your arrival formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a brief orientation about your Uganda Adventure Safari.
Depending on your arrival time, we recommend exchanging currency, and if time allows, you may opt for a city tour with our driver/guide. Explore Entebbe’s shopping malls, visit craft villages, and pick up any items you may need for your upcoming journey in the countryside.

Day 2: Domestic Flight to Kidepo Valley National Park
After a hearty breakfast, meet your guide for a transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a representative who will transfer you to the lodge in time for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation, preparing you for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 3: Full Day Guided Game Drives & Walking Safari
Begin your adventure with a full-day game drive, exploring the stunning wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park. Crown your day with a guided walking safari along a sandy dry riverbed lined with palm trees, or climb a rocky outcrop for panoramic views. Move slowly along isolated tracks, observing wildlife and animal tracks, and stop to investigate any signs of wildlife movement.
You may have the opportunity to track lions, cheetahs, or enjoy encounters with zebras, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, warthogs, Patas monkeys, and large herds of buffalo.

Day 4: Full Day Ik Cultural Experience
Today, immerse yourself in the rich culture of the Ik people, an ethnic group of around 10,000 individuals living in the Morungule Mountains. Displaced from their land to create Kidepo Valley National Park, the Ik experienced hardship, including famine and tribal raids. Despite these challenges, they have maintained a unique culture.
Spend the day with them, learning about their subsistence farming, grain grinding, and small village life, surrounded by protective walls.

Day 5: Road Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After a delicious breakfast, enjoy a leisurely drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Along the way, stop for a lunch break before continuing to your lodge, where you will arrive in time for dinner.

Day 6: Rhino Tracking Experience & Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Start the day with an early breakfast and embark on a thrilling rhino tracking experience. Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to the reintroduced rhinos, once extinct in Uganda due to poaching. A local ranger will guide you on foot for an up-close encounter with these magnificent creatures, a memorable experience that lasts about 1.5 hours.
After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a relaxed transfer back to Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight home.
