6 Day – Summit Wagagai Round Circuit
Day 1: Transfer to Spectacular Sipi Falls
Begin your journey early, traveling through lush landscapes and vibrant communities to Sipi Falls. Stop in Jinja for a view of Lake Victoria or lunch in Mbale before continuing to Sipi. Meet our representative for transfer to your accommodation at Blue Star Homestay, where you'll spend the night with the local community.

Day 2: Hike to Camp at Tumtum Cave
After breakfast, drive to Kapkwai Gate for a briefing and to meet your porters. Begin hiking to Tumtum Cave (2,667 meters), passing through forests and enjoying views of the plains and nearby communities. Camp overnight at Tumtum Cave, preparing for the next day's hike.

Day 3: Hike from Tumtum Cave to Kajere River Camp
After breakfast, we begin the hike from Tumtum Cave to Kajere River Camp at 8:30 AM. The 17 km trek takes approximately 6 hours, depending on the hikers' pace. Along the way, enjoy stunning views as we pass through extended primary forests, bamboo zones, montane vegetation, and areas of heathland. Upon reaching Kajere River Camp, we will set up camp for the night and prepare for the next day’s hike.

Day 4: Hike to Sim Valley Camp
After breakfast and a briefing, hike to Sim Valley Camp (3,450m), covering 10 km in about 6 hours. Enjoy views of Mubi Peak (4,210m), heathland, senecios, giant lobelias, and stunning mountain landscapes. Camp at the newly opened Sim Valley Camp for a break.

Day 5: Hike to Sayum Dubi Camp
Start early for the final summit hike to Wagagai Peak (4,321m), covering 18 km. Along the way, view Jackson Pool, Jackson Summit, crater lakes, and hot springs. After reaching the summit, descend to Sayum Dubi Camp (2,600m) for the night.

Day 6: Descend from the Mountain to Bududa
After breakfast at 7:30 AM, we begin our descent down the mountain at 8:30 AM. As we walk through the scenic landscape, we’ll enjoy stunning views of the mountains and valleys, passing through both primary and secondary forests. Along the way, we’ll have a bird's-eye view of the community settlements nestled in the valley. Our journey continues until we reach the valley, where we will sign out at the UWA office in Bududa.
